Brussels Sprouts Salad With Apple Cider Dressing
  1. Preheat your oven to 425F.

  2. Make the sage and maple bacon - lay the bacon on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.

  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the sage and maple syrup.

  4. Using a pastry brush, coat the bacon in the maple mixture.

  5. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the bacon is golden and crispy.

  6. Pat the bacon dry, dice, and set aside.

  7. Next, pan fry the shaved brussels sprouts in oil and a sprinkle of salt.

  8. Cook until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.

  9. Add the brussels sprouts to a bowl or serving plate, along with the apple, shallot, pecans, bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese.

  10. Whisk together the apple cider dressing - apple cider, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, dijon mustard, oil, and a pinch of salt.

  11. Mix the dressing into the brussels sprouts mixture and enjoy!
