Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Stir in cayenne and cracker crumbs.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until crackers are lightly browned, about 8 minutes.
Turn off the heat, and stir in the cheese until melted and combined.
Spread in an even layer on a parchment-line rimmed baking sheet, and let cool until set.
Break into crumbles.
