In a bowl at the dry ingredients followed by by the butter or oil. Mix well.
Slowly add the water and use a spatula to continue mixing this will allow the water to cool before using your hands.
Start kneading by hand until it no longer sticks to your hands. Form into a ball and leave covered for 30mins.
Divide in 8 balls and smooth each one and place in a plastic bag for 5mins to help soften further.
Take one Ball and dip both sides into flour. Place on the counter and start rolling out into a large round tortilla shape. Keeping turning as your roll to help form a circle.
Heat up a skillet on medium high heat. Place the dough inside and leave to bubble and puff up. Check inside has golden brown blisters otherwise then heat down or up. Then oven and do the same for the other side. Remove and cover with a kitchen towel as you repeat with the others.
