Caramel Apple Self Saucing Pudding
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan and lightly greased a 9 inch square baking dish.

  2. Arrange the apples in the bottom of the dish.

  3. In a large bowl combine the milk and vinegar then add in the remaining wet ingredients.

  4. Gently mix in the dry ingredients then pour the mixture over the apples.

  5. Mix together the sugar and cornflour then sprinkle over the top of the cake mixture.

  6. Cover with boiling water - I like to pour this over the back of the spoon to stop the mixture breaking.

  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, then allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving with ice cream.
