Preheat the oven to 360°F.
Heat the honey for half a minute, then add the baking soda. Stir and heat for another 2 minutes until it becomes a fluffy foam.
Add the butter to the mixture, stir until it melts, remove from heat, and let it cool to room temperature.
In mixer bowl Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy.
Gradually pour in the honey mixture, mixing well.
Add the flour in parts, mixing until smooth.
Bake for 12 minutes on parchment paper at 356°F (it took me about 20 minutes).
Cut out the cake layers (if they are thick, you can cut them in half horizontally).
For the cream, mix sour cream and powdered sugar.
Assemble the cake by layering cake and cream alternately.
Let the cake sit for a couple of hours at room temperature to set.
Decorate with crumbs from the cake trimmings.
