Soft Pretzels
  1. Mix warm water, yeast & brown sugar in a bowl until dissolved

  2. Add salt + melted butter

  3. Add 1 cup flour and mix for 2 minutes

  4. Add the 2nd cup of flour and mix with a rubber scraper

  5. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth & elastic

  6. Cut into 6 pieces to make 3 pretzels

  7. Shape each piece into a pretzel and place on a baking sheet

  8. Freeze for 30 minutes to help them hold their shape

  9. Preheat oven to 475°F

  10. Bring 2 cups water to a boil and add baking soda

  11. Boil pretzels (3 at a time) for 15 seconds

  12. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet

  13. Bake at 475°F for 8–10 minutes until golden

  14. Brush with melted butter + any toppings you love
