Mix warm water, yeast & brown sugar in a bowl until dissolved
Add salt + melted butter
Add 1 cup flour and mix for 2 minutes
Add the 2nd cup of flour and mix with a rubber scraper
Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth & elastic
Cut into 6 pieces to make 3 pretzels
Shape each piece into a pretzel and place on a baking sheet
Freeze for 30 minutes to help them hold their shape
Preheat oven to 475°F
Bring 2 cups water to a boil and add baking soda
Boil pretzels (3 at a time) for 15 seconds
Place on a lightly greased baking sheet
Bake at 475°F for 8–10 minutes until golden
Brush with melted butter + any toppings you love
