Cheesy Garlic & Herb Pull-apart Bread (bread Machine) — The Skinny Fork
  1. Place the ingredients for the bread dough into the base of a bread machine in the order indicated by your particular bread machine.Mine goes into my bread machine exactly as it’s listed.Set the machine to the ‘dough’ cycle.

  2. Once the dough cycle has ended, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and lightly coat the inside of a 9”x5” loaf pan with non-stick baking spray; set aside.Turn the dough out onto a well floured surface and roll it out with a rolling pin to be about 18”x18” square.

  3. Spread the 1 Tbsp. butter over the dough.

  4. Sprinkle with the 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 Tbsp. basil, 1 ½ Tsp. rosemary and 1 ½ Tsp. oregano.

  5. Finally, top with the shredded cheese and cut into about 16 ‘squares’.

  6. Carefully layer the squares on top of one another and place them into the prepared loaf pan.

  7. Allow to rise once again until at least doubled in size.

  8. Place the pan into the oven to bake for about 30 minutes.

  9. Check in on the bread at the 30 minute mark and cover with foil lightly if the bread is starting to brown too much on top.

  10. Continue to bake for about 10 minutes or until the bread has cooked through completely.

  11. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before removing from the loaf pan.

  12. Serve warm or store in a cool dry place until ready to enjoy!
