Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Combine crushed crackers, garlic salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish. Beat eggs in a separate bowl.
Dip pork chops in beaten eggs, letting excess drip off, then dredge in cracker mixture. Place chops in a casserole dish; drop chunks of butter around chops. Cover dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
