Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook the tortellini per the package instructions.
In a large skillet over medium high heat add the ground beef and onions, then cook until you see no visible signs of pink within the meat.
Remove from the skillet and drain the grease.
Reduce the heat to low and add the butter.
Once melted, sprinkle in the flour and mix together. Cook the mixture for 2-3 minutes while stirring around.
Add heavy whipping cream and whisk until the mixture starts to thicken.
Add in the cheese and mix until melted.
Then add the drained pasta, ground beef, seasonings, most of the bacon bits, drained tomatoes then stir to combine.
Garnish with leftover bacon and enjoy!
