Portobello Beer Burgers
  1. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and rinse them.

  2. Combine the beer, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Soak the mushrooms in the liquid for 20-30 minutes.

  3. Toast the burger buns in a hot pan.

  4. Cook the mushrooms in a skillet or cast iron pan over medium heat for 6-8 minutes, flipping once.

  5. Remove excess liquid from the pan as the mushrooms cook.

  6. If using cheese, place a slice on top of the mushroom during the last minute or two of cooking.

  7. Place the cooked portobello on top of the burger bun and add lettuce, tomato, sauces, and onion rings or potato chips.

  8. Serve alongside your favorite beer. Enjoy!
