Octopus Body: Make 2 pieces with any color you wish.
Rnd 1: MR of 6 SC (6)
Rnd 2: * inc * 6 times (12)
Rnd 3: * SC in next, inc * 6 times (18)
Rnd 4: * SC in next 2, inc * 6 times (24)
Rnd 5: * SC in next 3, inc * 6 times (30)
Rnd 6-8: SC in each st around (30)
Rnd 9: * SC in next 3, dec * 6 times (24)
Rnd 10: SC in each st around (24)
Insert eyes between rounds 6 and 7, leaving 4-5 sts between them.
Octopus Tentacles: Rnd 11: * SC in next, CH 6, 2DC in 3rd ch from the hook, DC in next 3, skip 1 st, SC in next st to join the tentacle to the body. * Repeat 8 times.
Join both pieces: Make the mouth on both pieces with a small piece of black yarn using a tapestry needle.
Place both pieces with the wrong side facing each other and the right side facing outwards.
Join each tentacle using the slip stitch method.
