Cinnamon Swirl Bread With No Mixer
  1. Knead flour, yeast, sugar, oil, salt, and warm water together until dough is soft and stretchy

  2. Place dough in oiled bowl and cover with a damp towel

  3. Let rise until doubled in size, about 1 ½ hours

  4. Dump dough onto floured countertop and flatten air bubbles out

  5. Divide dough into two sections

  6. Roll one section into a large rectangle

  7. Spread 4 TBS soft butter across the dough

  8. Spread brown sugar across the butter

  9. Sprinkle cinnamon over the brown sugar

  10. Roll from short end to the other

  11. Slice down the middle and twist the dough with cut side up

  12. Place in parchment lined 9x5 loaf pan

  13. Cover with damp towel and let rise for 45 minutes

  14. Mix egg wash with 1 egg, a little water, and a pinch of salt

  15. Brush dough with egg wash

  16. Bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 190°F
