Rice Cooker Chicken Rice
  1. Marinate 2 boneless chicken thighs with 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp salt, and few slices of ginger

  2. Add 1 and ¼ cup rice to rice cooker

  3. Add chicken broth to rice cooker using slightly less broth than usual to avoid soggy rice

  4. Add minced ginger (1.5 inch) and garlic (4 cloves) to rice cooker

  5. Add marinated chicken thighs to rice cooker

  6. Add unsalted butter and knotted spring onion to rice cooker

  7. Cook rice cooker until done

  8. Let chicken rice rest in rice cooker for 10 minutes before serving

  9. Prepare chili sauce by combining minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped red chili, chopped chili padi, chicken broth, brown sugar, salt, and lime juice

  10. Prepare ginger garlic scallion oil sauce by combining minced ginger, minced garlic, salt, sesame oil, and hot scallion oil

  11. Prepare soy sauce by combining light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and warm water

  12. Serve chicken rice with chili sauce, ginger garlic scallion oil sauce, and soy sauce on the side
