Pour filtered water into a clean glass at room temperature or cold depending on the version.
Squeeze about 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice into the glass before adding baking soda.
Pour 1 to 2 tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar into the water and stir gently.
Sprinkle baking soda into the liquid carefully to control the fizzing reaction.
Let the bubbling settle completely before drinking, especially important for the ACV version.
Sip the drink over three to five minutes rather than all at once.
Follow with a sip of plain water to protect tooth enamel.
