Bloom your yeast in the warm water and sugar
Add butter, salt, and egg
Add flour in ½ cup at a time. Dough should clean the sides of your bowl and not be overly sticky
Knead until dough passes windowpane test
Shape into a ball and put into a greased bowl
Let the dough rise until it doubles in size (~1-2 hours)
Cut into 8 equal pieces and shape into balls
Let the dough rise again for another 30-45 minutes
Press down on buns to flatten them out slightly
Egg wash and top with sesame seeds if desired
Bake at 375F 15-20 minutes
