Easy, Healthier Garlic Beef Pasta
  1. Boil water in a pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions.

  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  3. Add the minced garlic and diced red onion. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Add the lean beef and season with salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, and oregano. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.

  5. Add the tomato sauce, beef broth, milk, and ⅓ cup of the pasta water. Stir and let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes.

  6. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet with the beef and sauce. Stir to combine.

  7. Sprinkle the low-fat cheese on top and serve.
