Heat water to boiling and add granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Turn off and allow the simple syrup to cool.
Combine the lime juice, cooled simple syrup and strawberries in a blender and blend until smooth.
Mix with 6 cups of cold water. Taste and adjust the sugar or lime juice as desired.
Serve it up in a glass with ice and garnish with fresh strawberries and lime wedges.
Mix 6 tablespoons strawberry limeade mixture and ⅓ cup (3 ounces) water. Serve over ice.
