Crispy Almond Muffins
  1. Lightly grease a muffin tray or line with paper cups.

  2. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla sugar & salt until creamy.

  3. Add eggs one at a time.

  4. Mix in the cream.

  5. Combine flour + baking powder and fold in.

  6. Divide the batter evenly into the muffin tray.

  7. Pre-bake at 180°C for about 12 minutes.

  8. Heat butter, sugar & cream, then stir in almonds + flour.

  9. Spoon the almond mixture onto the muffins.

  10. Bake for another 15–20 minutes until golden brown.

  11. Optional: top with cream & dust with powdered sugar!
