Place a bowl in your steamer and rest the chicken drumsticks on top
Steam for 18–20 minutes until cooked through
Collect the chicken juices from the bowl
Heat peanut oil until hot, then pour over minced ginger and spring onion
Mix in soy sauce, salt, sugar, sesame oil, and the reserved chicken juices
Shred the chicken by hand and pour the sauce over
Serve over rice and eat immediately
