Homemade Chilli Oil
  1. Add chopped garlic, chopped onion, coriander stems, bay leaf, star anise, cinnamon stick, cloves, and black pepper to cold oil

  2. Heat on the lowest heat setting for 15-20 minutes to slowly release flavors

  3. Remove all aromats and keep aside, retaining only the browned onion and garlic in the oil

  4. In a bowl, combine chilli flakes, chilli powder, salt, sesame, white pepper powder, garlic powder, spring onions, sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar

  5. Mix the infused oil with the bowl mixture

  6. Store in an airtight container
