Wash nicely and pat dry the brussels sprouts heads.
Remove the hard stalks and cut in half . Also, remove any yellow or brownish leaves and any dark spots.
Cut the heads vertically.
Transfer the cut sprouts in a mixing bowl.
Add the sauces, oil and sugar/sweetener and mix well.
Coat the heads nicely in sauce.
Preheat the air fryer at 350 °F or 180 °C.
Arrange the sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Air Fry for 15 mins. at 350 °F or 180 °C.
Once done, transfer back in the mixing bowl. There should be some sauce remaining.
Toss the roasted brussels sprouts in the sauce and serve hot.
Tastes best when eaten fresh and hot.
Stays good for 3-4 days when refrigerated in an air tight container.
To reheat Brussels Sprouts in Air Fryer- Set the temperature to 150C/300F and reheat for 7-8 mins. On a higher temp. these may burn and become very dry.
To reheat Brussels Sprouts in Oven- Reheat on preheating mode at 300 F for 10 mins.
I do not recommend heating the Sprouts in microwave, as these become soggy and lose the crunch.
