  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  3. Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally.

  4. Lightly pound each chicken breast to ensure even cooking.

  5. Sprinkle each chicken breast with salt and black pepper.

  6. Spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive or avocado oil, and season the other side.

  7. Add seasoning of your choice to both sides of the chicken.

  8. Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
