Aglio e Olio

1-bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook the spaghetti until done as per the directions. While this is happening complete the rest of the recipe.

2-add the olive oil and garlic to a skillet large enough to hold the finished dish. Put the heat to medium and sauté for about 2 minutes until the garlic releases their aroma do not burn the garlic.

3-Remove the skillet from the heat and add the crushed pepper, salt and parsley

4-once the pasta is done add 1-cup of pasta water to the skillet and put the heat to medium

5-strain the pasta and add it to the skillet and toss this all together for 1-2 minutes on a medium heat

6-remove from the heat wait 1 minute add the cheese and toss

I serve this with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and more cheese.
