Parkerhouse Rolls
  1. Stir milk, salt and sugar and cool.

  2. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.

  3. Add cool milk mixture. Add beaten eggs and melted butter.

  4. Sift in flour. Beat in 3 more cups until stiff, 1 cup at a time, leave in bowl.

  5. Put a damp dish towel over bowl. Let double in size. Rise about 1 hour.

  6. Punch dough down. Roll dough out, cut it, and dip in melted butter. Fold (about 3 across and 7 down). Let rise again, 30 to 45 minutes.

  7. Bake at 375 F for 15 minutes.
