Lebanese Flatbread
  1. Add 4 cups of flour to a large bowl or basin

  2. Add 4.5 tsp of dry yeast

  3. Add 1 tsp of powdered sugar

  4. Add 1.5 tsp of salt

  5. Mix together

  6. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil

  7. Gradually add 1.5 cups of warm water and mix by hand until a soft dough forms

  8. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 1 hour

  9. Punch down the dough and place on a floured surface

  10. Divide the dough into 12 equal rounds, then dust with flour

  11. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes

  12. Roll each piece out thinly with a rolling pin

  13. Cook for about 1 minute on high heat, flip and cook for 30 more seconds

  14. Continue cooking until evenly baked
