Cabbage Fritters (cabbage Patties/cabbage Cakes)
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, diced onions, eggs, all-purpose flour, salt, and ground black pepper to form a batter. Set aside.

  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of oil, and swirl to coat the entire surface. Using a tablespoon, scoop up the cabbage batter and drop six rounds onto the skillet. Gently flatten the cabbage fritters with a spatula. Pan-fry for about one minute on each side, until golden brown but not burned.

  3. Turn the cabbage fritters over and pan-fry the other side until golden brown. Repeat the same steps until you use up all the batter.

  4. Transfer the cabbage cakes to a serving platter. Serve with sour cream sprinkled with cayenne pepper and parsley.
