Mix the herbs and dry ingredients together, then add the yogurt and knead gently till it forms a lightly elastic dough. Don't overwork it.
Roll out to a rectangle about 20mm thick and cut into pieces.
Lightly oil your hot plate or skillet and on a low heat, add your dough. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side. I lightly toasted the edges too.
Once cooked, brush with a warmed olive oil & butter mixture to which you have added a clove of finely grated garlic, zest of a lemon, 3 tbsp chives and a good pinch of salt.
Keep the scones warm wrapped in a clean tea towel.
