  1. Mix 1 cup very warm water with sugar and yeast

  2. Add the margarine, 2 eggs, salt, and mix ((this can be done in a blender)

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into a large mixing bowl containing the flour. Mix or knead for a few minutes.

  4. Put dough in an oiled bowl and turn on all sides so oil coats all dough

  5. Cover with a towel, let rise 1 hour

  6. Mix dough again and braid challah. Place braided challah on a sprayed pan.

  7. Cover, let rise 1 hour, then brush on egg yolk mixed with 1 tbsp water

  8. Bake at 325° for 20 mins
