In a medium pot, bring water to a boil. Reduce to medium-high heat, then gently lower the eggs in the water. Cook for 6 minutes.
Transfer the eggs immediately to an ice bath and let them cool for 2-3 minutes.
While the eggs are cooling, mix the marinade ingredients thoroughly in a container.
Peel the eggs and place them into the marinade.
Cover with a lid and refrigerate overnight.
Enjoy as is with steamed rice, or slice in half and serve with your favorite ramen noodle soup!
