Marinate chicken with all the ingredients mentioned above for at least 30 minutes, longer the better.
Heat oil in a pan and saute chicken on medium high for 2-3 minutes.
Lower the flame, cover and cook till chicken is done.
In another pan, melt butter. Add flour and saute it for 2-3 minutes.
Gradually add milk, whisking constantly, cook for 2 minutes on medium.
Add the spices, cook for 3-4 minutes on medium low flame.
In a hot sizzler plate, first layer chicken. Pour over the white sauce and sprinkle with cheese and coriander, cover and return the sizzler to the stove.
Cook till cheese melts and the sauce is bubbling, about 3-4 minutes on medium low.
Serve hot with garlic rice or naan.
