Red Sauce Alla Vodka Pasta
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions

  2. Heat unsalted butter and olive oil in a pan

  3. Sauté minced brown onion and 3-4 cloves minced garlic

  4. Add red pepper flakes and tomato paste

  5. Pour in tomato passata

  6. Add vodka and let simmer

  7. Stir in heavy cream

  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste

  9. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce

  10. Top with grated parmesan
