Slow-roasted Umami Tomatoes
  1. Preheat oven to 230 deg F (convection recommended)

  2. Season tomatoes with salt and pepper and olive oil

  3. Align tomatoes seed side up! (the middle of the tomato - they will dehydrate faster this way)

  4. Roast for 3 hours

  5. Idea! Purée these with double cream, add cooked crab leg for a cream of tomato and crab soup. Servie with local baguette.
