Gluten-free Tofu Burgers Recipe
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  2. Crumble tofu: In a large bowl, crumble the tofu into chunks resembling ground meat.

  3. Prepare patty mixture: Add the chickpea flour, basil, shallots, Thai red curry paste, cilantro, tomato paste, sriracha, and coconut aminos. Add salt to taste. Use your hands to incorporate the ingredients and massage into a dough-like texture.

  4. Make the patties: Form about 10 small patties, each palm size.

  5. Optional: For crispier patties, pan-fry each side in a large skillet, with a drizzle of olive oil, for about 3 minutes on each side before baking.

  6. Bake on a non-stick or lined baking sheet for about 7 minutes, or until golden on top. Flip the patties over and bake for about another 7 minutes, or until both sides are golden brown.
