Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the garlic cloves and potatoes
Cook potatoes until fork tender about 12-15 minutes and remove with a slotted spoon
Add the string beans and cook 2-3 minutes, then remove with slotted spoon and discard the garlic
Add the potatoes, string beans and tomatoes to a large bowl
Mix the olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, parsley, salt and pepper together
Pour dressing over the salad and gently toss
Serve warm or at room temperature
