Buttermilk Bar Donut Loaf
  1. Preheat 350°F. Line 9x5 loaf pan.

  2. Whisk dry ingredients.

  3. Whisk wet ingredients until smooth.

  4. Combine just until mixed.

  5. For streusel: Whisk flour, sugar, salt.

  6. Add butter + vanilla to streusel mixture.

  7. Cut in until craggy crumbs form for streusel.

  8. Chill streusel.

  9. Add just under half the batter to pan.

  10. Top with half the streusel.

  11. Add remaining batter, spread gently.

  12. Top with remaining streusel. Do not press.

  13. Bake 50–60 min.

  14. Tent with foil if browning too fast.

  15. Bake until moist crumbs / 200–203°F internal temp.

  16. Cool completely.

  17. For glaze: Whisk sugar + salt.

  18. Add vanilla + 3 tbsp milk.

  19. Add more milk until thin + glossy.

  20. Drizzle over cooled loaf.

  21. Let set until crackly.
