Crush the vanilla wafers and place them in a baggie, then roll to break them down further
Add cocoa powder and powdered sugar to the crushed wafers
Force the mixture through a sieve
Toast the pecans for a few minutes
Chop the toasted pecans and add to the mixture
Add corn syrup to the mixture
Add bourbon or liquor of your choice
Mix until the consistency is damp but not wet
Scoop and roll the mixture into balls
Roll the balls in powdered sugar to coat
