Cut meat into consistent strips about ¼" thick.
Mix all of the other ingredients thoroughly and marinate the meat in a sealed bag or container in the refrigerator for 4-24 hours.
Lay out the marinated meat on racks without pieces touching.
Dehydrate/bake/smoke in equipment at 160-180F until desired texture is reached.
Let the jerky 'rest' until it reaches room temperature before consumption and packaging.
