Chocolate Milk Tea
  1. Cook the boba: Bring a small pot of water to a boil on the stovetop over high heat. Once boiling, add the uncooked boba pearls. At first, they will sink and then they will float after about 20 seconds. Slightly reduce the heat to maintain a simmer and continue to cook them for 5-10 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and strain out the boba. Immediately run them under cold water for a minute.

  2. As soon as you are done rinsing the boba, add them to 1 tsp of chocolate simple syrup. Make sure the syrup fully coats the boba. Let them soak for 10 minutes to absorb the chocolate flavor.

  3. Add 1 tbsp of chocolate syrup to the milk and stir until evenly combined. Add the cooked boba in syrup and a handful of ice to the chocolate milk and mix. Enjoy!
