Simple Fresh Milled Sourdough Discard Waffles
  1. Add your sourdough starter to a mixing bowl. To that, add eggs, oil, honey, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix well with a whisk.

  2. Now add in the salt and baking soda. Mix well. Once the baking soda is in, the mixture will become bubbly. This is normal.

  3. Warm your waffle iron and cook according to your waffle maker instructions. For my waffle maker, they come out best when I do not oil or butter the waffle maker but if you’re using a cast iron or something that works better oiled, then be sure to oil your waffle maker before pouring in the batter.

  4. Enjoy with your favorite toppings!
