  1. Brown Italian sausage

  2. Make bacon reserving drippings. Chop into small pieces. Set aside.

  3. Sauté onion in dripping until slightly translucent.

  4. Add garlic into the pan with onion and cook together, about 1 minute. Add water, chicken soup base, and potatoes, simmer 15 minutes.

  5. Add crumbled bacon, sausage, kale, and cream. Simmer, about 5 minutes, and serve.
