Heat olive oil and butter in a large pot over medium heat
Season chicken thighs or breasts with kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper
Add chicken to the pot and cook until browned
Add diced onion, celery, and carrots to the pot
Stir in ground turmeric, ground coriander, and red pepper flakes
Add freshly grated ginger and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant
Pour in chicken broth and add bay leaves and lemon peel if using
Add Parmesan rind if using and bring to a simmer
Add cannellini beans and acini di pepe pasta
Simmer until chicken is cooked through and pasta is tender
Remove chicken and shred it, then return to the pot
Stir in frozen peas, fresh dill, and fresh parsley
Finish with lemon juice and adjust seasoning to taste
Serve with additional Parmesan cheese and chili oil if desired
