Marinate the chicken with garlic paste, ginger paste, kashmiri chilli powder and salt. Set aside for 10 minutes.
In a pan, heat oil and fry the marinated chicken until its cooked. Set aside in a bowl.
In the same pan, add the 50g of butter, onion, garlic paste and sauté for 3 minutes.
Add in the tin tomatoes, water, garam masala, sugar and kasuri methi. Simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes. (Tip: add more sugar if you want it sweeter.)
Transfer mixture into a bowl and blend with stick blender into a fine puree.
Strain the mixture back into the same pan and add in 25g butter, cooked chicken pieces, cream and 2 tsp kasuri methi.
Cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Garnish it with cream and kasuri methi and serve with roti or rice. Enjoy!
