White Castle Cheeseburger Sliders
  1. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, beefy onion soup mix, and beef broth until everything is well mixed.

  3. Place the mixture in the freezer for 25 minutes; it won't freeze solid but will be easier to handle afterward.

  4. In a large baking pan, pour in 1 cup of beef broth and add the 3 tablespoons of minced onions, stirring gently to spread the onions evenly.

  5. Shape the meat mixture into a large rectangle and place it into the broth and onion mixture. This will allow the liquid to steam the burgers as they cook.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

  7. After 10 minutes, remove the pan from the oven and drain the liquid, though some residual liquid is fine.

  8. Carefully turn the meat out onto a piece of parchment paper.

  9. On the baking pan, place the bottoms of the 12 slider buns.

  10. Gently flip the parchment paper back over to place the cooked meat on top of the buns.

  11. Using the cut marks as a guide, separate the burgers.

  12. Top each slider with cheese slices and dill pickle chips, then place the tops of the slider buns on.

  13. Return the sliders to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes, just enough time to melt the cheese.

  14. Serve the sliders immediately.
