Preheat the oven to 200°C
In mixing bowl combine the butter, mixed spice, and sugar into a creamy paste
Stir in the apple
Rollout pastry sheet number 1- spread over your filling evenly
Rollout out pastry sheet 2 on top
Using a knife cut lengthways making 6 long rectangles
Twist each piece 5-6 times like in the video
Prepare a lined flat baking tin, make a "rose" circle shape
Bake for 23-25 minutes. until the pastry has puffed up and has a lovely golden colour on top
Remove and let cool fully removing from the tray and icing
For the icing: Add the icing ingredients into a bowl and stir until silky smooth
Drizzle over the pastries and sprinkle over the nuts
