Preheat your oven to 400° (F).
Slice squash as close to 1 inch rings as you can.
Remove squash seeds with a smaller knife or spoon.
Place your squash on a sheet pan.
Cover with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Roast in oven for about 25-30 minutes depending on its size and the thickness of your rings.
Flip the rings and cook another 20 minutes (the rings do not trap heat the same as when you slice a spaghetti squash in half so they must cook longer)
Remove the spaghetti strands using a fork and top with butter to serve as a side or top with a bolognese sauce to serve as a main dish!
