Paula Deen’s Mashed Cauliflower
  1. Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil and place a steamer basket inside. Add the cauliflower florets, cover, and steam for about 10-12 minutes, or until they are fork-tender.

  2. Transfer the steamed cauliflower to a food processor. Add butter, cream cheese, heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Fold in the Parmesan cheese while the cauliflower is still warm, allowing it to melt into the mixture. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

  4. Spoon the mashed cauliflower into a serving dish and garnish with fresh chives or parsley for a touch of color. Serve immediately while warm.
