Cast Iron Pizza
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and instant yeast.

  2. Add the warm water and olive oil and stir until a shaggy dough forms.

  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

  5. Punch down the dough and stretch or roll it out to fit your cast iron skillet.

  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).

  7. Grease the cast iron skillet with olive oil and place the dough in the pan, pressing it up the sides.

  8. Add your desired toppings.

  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
