Homemade Marshmallows
  1. Combine 4 tbsp of marshmallow root with 4 cups of water and let sit overnight.

  2. Pour ½ cup of the mixture into a bowl and sprinkle 2 ½ tbsp gelatin over it to bloom.

  3. In a pot, combine 1 cup of honey and a pinch of salt, then boil for 9 minutes on medium-high heat.

  4. Pour the honey mixture and the gelatin mixture into a bowl, then add ½ tbsp slippery elm powder and 1 tbsp vanilla extract.

  5. Combine the ingredients on low, then mix on high for 9 minutes.

  6. Line a pan with parchment paper and cover with arrowroot powder (optional).

  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and let set in the refrigerator.

  8. Enjoy!
