Sauté ½ chopped white onion, 1 diced red bell pepper and 2 garlic cloves until softened.
Add in 2 teaspoons pizza seasoning (I use a blend from Penzeys Spices, but Italian seasoning and a little fennel/sage work too! Or just season with dried oregano/basil).
Add in 2 15-ounce cans white beans (drained and rinsed) and 1 15-ounce can tomato sauce and 1 ½ cups broth.
Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring often.
Top with cheese of choice if you want (I did a little parm) and serve! We loved this with toasted bread the first night and leftovers got tossed with more sauce, fresh basil and orzo pasta!
