Mix 2 cups self raising flour with 1 cup full fat yoghurt and 1 tsp salt to make a soft dough
Boil 2-3 medium potatoes and mash them
Finely dice 1 red onion and 1 tomato
Mix boiled potatoes with diced onion, tomato, 1 tsp chilli, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp cumin seeds, and ½ tsp coriander powder
Add grated mature cheddar to the potato filling
Roll out dough portions and fill with potato mixture
Cook parathas on a hot griddle until golden brown
Serve with chilli sauce or chilli oil
